FRENZY 3.5 (Smokey Joe)
3.5” 1.25 oz - Slow level sinking glider/stickbait
Casts like a rocket & slow level sinking.
The FRENZY is based on a one piece 1.6 mm laser cut 316 stainless steel plate frame. The body is constructed of hand poured extremely durable resin & finished off with a multi layered epoxy topcoat.
This creates a super versatile lure can be fished in shallow or deep water. The 3.5 requires a bit more input from the angler than the larger models. The low speed zig zag swim isn’t as prevalent in the 3.5, think more twitch bait less glide bait. This model responds really well to a twitch/pause retrieve .
Also, as with the larger models a sweep & pause retrieve creates a thumping action that is sure to draw strikes. This is my favorite way to fish the 3.5 !
Comes rigged with high quality 4x VMC 1/0 treble belly and 2/0 single rear & Rosco 80lb stainless split rings.
** We do not recommend tying directly to the lure, use a quick snap or split ring/swivel combo to connect to your leader.
The FRENZY is built for both inshore & offshore species. However we do recommend upgrading the hooks & split rings if pursuing high horsepower pelagics such as Tuna, Larger Mahi, etc.
